It’s that time again, after 150 kilometres and 15 cattle grids in just 9 days, I lie flat on my back in our tent for most of the day, hoping that the excruciating pain in my back and hips will ease up soon. Tanja is very active during this time and takes care of the camels, cooks food, sorts our equipment, repairs, sews and sets my bush office up.
